Do you remember what it was like to play your Atari 2600 with all of it's primitive sounds and graphics, but great gameplay? Games these days have tons of eyecandy and full digital movie theater like sound, employing real actors and million dollar budgets. And yet, whenever I�play them, I find myself yearning for the good old days when I could play Combat on the Atari 2600 or Super Dodgeball on the Nintendo against my friends. The games these days spend way too much time making it look and sound great that they often don't end up playing great. I spend half my time with the manual in front of my face trying to figure out if the fibbit is pointed 30 degrees towards the foozit, then the fandingle will allow me to push the the block 2.12 inches back so that I can read the note hidden at the beginning of the game.

Well, now thanks to some wizards with programming languages, we can all relive the good old days when games were fun to play. Several emulators exist for many computers, but here I will only focus on the major ones.
